Armando Jerrold came out and tried to block the shot, but 董骋乐 slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 18th minute. Siro Lohitzun hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 朱枫威 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Panacán's zone, 傅骏平 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Jerrold came out of the goal and 傅骏平 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 麦天林 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Pirro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 麦天林 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Leizarraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Jerrold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 董骋乐 in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 朱枫威 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 莫城远 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Jerrold having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Emanuel Ralondo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 麦天林. 胖虎美式队's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Ralondo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Panacán defense, 朱枫威 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Jerrold. The Panacán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Jerrold should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 胖虎美式队 had won after a very even match.
