Herbert Morard started the match with the kick off. Eleuterio Claris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Yves Davesne made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbert Morard in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Artal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 played minutes Monarrez FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Jakue. Fausto Cesaro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. Pablo Artal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Emmanuel Sénac in the 19th minute of the match. Pablo Artal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Morard in the 22nd minute of play. If Gualterio Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ranquet's Dominique Preau got a free kick in the 31st minute. Monarrez FC's Pablo Artal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustave Verot in the 34th minute of play. Pablo Artal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Morard in the 35th minute of the match. Rémy Manzoni hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Morard in the 40th minute of play forced Monarrez FC's goalkeeper Pablo Artal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eleuterio Claris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yves Davesne having to make a save. 44 minutes into the match, Monarrez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Morard came free, but Pablo Artal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Rudolfo struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Yves Davesne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monarrez FC.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Rudolfo was the one to do the kick off. Gustave Verot hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Pablo Artal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Morard in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ranquet's Pierre-Emmanuel Sénac dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. If Eleuterio Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute, Samuel Roland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yves Davesne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gualterio Rudolfo went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 71 minutes, Domingos Bernal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monarrez FC and the Ranquet players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Monarrez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Bernal to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ranquet's Rémy Manzoni got a free kick in the 74th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Eleuterio Claris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monarrez FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Claris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gualterio Rudolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Yves Davesne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Morard in the 82nd minute of play forced Monarrez FC's goalkeeper Pablo Artal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Rudolfo in the 85th minute of play forced Ranquet's goalkeeper Yves Davesne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Herbert Morard came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ranquet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Morard couldn't finish the play. When Moïse Felten fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranquet's protests and gave Moïse Felten a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel Roland hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Eleuterio Claris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monarrez FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Claris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Monarrez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustave Verot came free, but Pablo Artal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ranquet players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
