Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Neeshan La Forest kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Ranquet got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Canal. In the 3rd minute of the match Austin Mathur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yves Davesne skillfully saved the ball. Herbert Morard charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herbert Morard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Ranquet got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Morard. After a rather tough play, AC Port of Spain's James Andrews got a free kick in the 10th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Moïse Felten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranquet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moïse Felten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ranquet's Herbert Morard got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Ranquet got a freekick which was hit by Bacary Racine. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Bob Sealy managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Port of Spain's supporters rose to their feet, but Bob Sealy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yves Davesne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herbert Morard in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clyde Spencer saved AC Port of Spain from getting behind. After 19 played minutes AC Port of Spain got a freekick which was hit by Orville Capildeo. In the 20th minute of the match Moïse Felten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clyde Spencer skillfully saved the ball. AC Port of Spain's Neeshan La Forest got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the AC Port of Spain defense, Herbert Morard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clyde Spencer. The AC Port of Spain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clyde Spencer should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ranquet's Isaac Canal got a free kick in the 37th minute. Clyde Spencer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustave Verot in the 41st minute of play. The AC Port of Spain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clyde Spencer should have stopped the shot. The AC Port of Spain players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ranquet were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Morard made a kick off. The supporters of AC Port of Spain booed when Ranquet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jason Delporte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jason Delporte's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Clyde Spencer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Clyde Spencer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jason Delporte in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Morard in the 59th minute of play forced AC Port of Spain's goalkeeper Clyde Spencer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Morard was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of AC Port of Spain booed when Ranquet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Morard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustave Verot struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Clyde Spencer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ranquet. After 68 minutes, James Andrews mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Port of Spain and the Ranquet players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute Neeshan La Forest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Davesne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yves Davesne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Neeshan La Forest in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yves Davesne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Pierre-Emmanuel Sénac fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 82nd minute, James Andrews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustave Verot got free with Clyde Spencer in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pierre-Emmanuel Sénac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Clyde Spencer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kevon Hussein came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the AC Port of Spain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevon Hussein couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ranquet had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
