Aaron Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Hedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, SSC Ambrosini's Christer Lundin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrik Möllgren to strike the kick off in the second half. SSC Ambrosini's Marcus Kilman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dan Verhoeven in the 50 minute of the game. Henrik Möllgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brazilio Butt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrik Möllgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Möllgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Henrik Möllgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Lundin came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
