Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Antônio Carlos Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Turi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 18 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Marinho came free, but Cayetano Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, De Boedo Vengo's Nicasio Bartoleme got a free kick in the 30th minute. Cayetano Esdras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santo Patrido hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Cayetano Esdras was a little too slow when Nelsinho Marinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lázaro Turi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the De Boedo Vengo defense, Ronaldo Pirani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Esdras. The De Boedo Vengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Esdras should have stopped the shot. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Severiano Amaya hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes, Palestra do Interior's Nelsinho Marinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cayetano Esdras came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palestra do Interior reached it. Sérgio Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelson Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Esdras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Corderun hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Alex Toscano came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Palestra do Interior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Toscano couldn't finish the play. Nelsinho Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho Marinho in the 86th minute of the match. Cayetano Esdras came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Ronaldo Pirani. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. De Boedo Vengo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
