In the 3rd minute, Dionisio Corderun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Danilo Viscarra got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Danilo Viscarra came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the GuateFortín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Viscarra couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Orlando Morales got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 27 minutes into the game, Lázaro Turi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miguel Marin. Lázaro Turi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Dionisio Corderun hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Félix Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Orlando Morales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Félix Moreno scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Esdras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the De Boedo Vengo defense, Félix Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Esdras. The De Boedo Vengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Esdras should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lázaro Turi made a kick off. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Gallardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Carmelo Sandoval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Turi came free, but Miguel Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gavino Chucho hit a great ball. GuateFortín's Misael Brizuela was substituted for Dennys Erazo. In the 66th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Chucho to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Carmelo Sandoval got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Cayetano Esdras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félix Moreno to maneuver through the defense. Carmelo Sandoval was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Félix Moreno might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Esdras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Félix Moreno ran back to his position shaking his head. Danilo Viscarra let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 85th minute shot 1-3 at rihgt post. After having played for 97 minutes, Efren Viscarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GuateFortín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efren Viscarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
