An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Nordkvist in the 9th minute of play forced KP Primator Oława's goalkeeper Zenon Pluciennik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Norberg made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Daniel Golembiewski sent off a good shot on target. When Xaverius Xavier fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KP Primator Oława's protests and gave Xaverius Xavier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute of the match spikarna got a corner. KP Primator Oława's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christoffer Hansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 31st minute, Sven Nordkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zenon Pluciennik was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Kaj Hård sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Norberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Golembiewski in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in spikarna's zone, João Carlos Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Norberg came out of the goal and João Carlos Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

João Carlos Porto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars Norberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play.
