The goalkeeper, Kevin Gilberg, was totally fooled by Edrosa's Hipólito Telinhos, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 10th minute, Hermenegildo Veríssimo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edrosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Henrik Aspås had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Semedo's late challenge caught a Siddis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Semedo helped the player get up and apologised. Jairo Semedo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Isidoro Gusmão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Håland in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Edrosa booed when Siddis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Bjørkhaug didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Filinto Rebocho fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edrosa's protests and gave Filinto Rebocho a yellow card for diving instead. Hipólito Telinhos kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Erik Håland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Gusmão was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filinto Rebocho in the 37th minute of play forced Siddis's goalkeeper Kevin Gilberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Gusmão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Håland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siddis's Kevin Gilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermenegildo Veríssimo in the 41st minute of play. Kevin Gilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filinto Rebocho in the 46th minute of the match. A collision led to Edrosa getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Filinto Rebocho hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Filinto Rebocho made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Siddis's zone, Filinto Rebocho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Gilberg came out of the goal and Filinto Rebocho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermenegildo Veríssimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Kevin Gilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Siddis got a freekick which was hit by Tore Korneliussen. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Siddis's Kevin Gilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filinto Rebocho in the 79th minute of play. With a little luck, Edrosa's Isidoro Gusmão got control of the ball when Henrik Aspås tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Bjørkhaug during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Edrosa booed when Siddis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Bjørkhaug didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Filinto Rebocho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Filinto Rebocho notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Siddis's Kevin Gilberg. Kevin Gilberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Hermenegildo Veríssimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute.
