Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Rönnöfors FF's Henry Fagerberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carl Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match, Victor Santxol tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Magne Gunnarsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 7th minute, Bertil Hellgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Surahammar's Markus Wallman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bertil Hellgren in the 9 minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Santxol came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Surahammar's Victor Santxol managed to work through Rönnöfors FF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Victor Santxol dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Carl Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 12th minute of play. Carl Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Fagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19thth minute of the game Per Stenberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Surahammar's Carl Engström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Surahammar's Radamel Oakley got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Carl Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29th play minutes Henry Fagerberg shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Carl Engström and just under the crossbar into goal. With 47 minutes on the clock, Sten Hökqvist commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 46 minutes into the game, one of Rönnöfors FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Radamel Oakley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 49thth minute tested the skills of Magne Gunnarsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radamel Oakley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goalkeeper Carl Engström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Fagerberg. A sloppy throw-in by Folke Skröder in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rönnöfors FF's Per Stenberg. In the 60th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Santxol in the 62nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rönnöfors FF's Torsten Åman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carl Engström. That made the score 0-3 after 67 minutes of play. In the 96th match minute, Rönnöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Björkdahl to maneuver through the defense. When Toninho Lara came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Surahammar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho Lara couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Rönnöfors FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Surahammar.
