After 38 minutes of play, FC Bullen's Richard Fredriksson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolf Blom was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Richard Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bullen's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Fredriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Blom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toni Schumacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wasyl Zworski, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wasyl Zworski was the one to do the kick off. Toni Schumacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Bambas in the 52nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Bullen's Richard Fredriksson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolf Blom. That made the score 0-3 after 55 minutes of play. In the 92nd minute, FC Bullen's Richard Fredriksson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 95th minute, Verner Hägert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Bullen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
