Wu Qi started the match with the kick off. Dan Verhoeven made in the 2nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Silviu Novac however managed to control. 5 minutes into the game, Samurai's Wu Qi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brazilio Butt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's Tanek Bobrowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vince Di Cola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vince Di Cola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulf Nordlander's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Wu Qi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brazilio Butt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Qi in the 13th minute of play. When Samurai's Wu Qi in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DIF LEEDS BK's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wu Qi in the 18th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Qi in the 18th minute of play. After 22 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Ranko Živković. 26 minutes into the game, Silviu Novac lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Vince Di Cola. In the 28th minute, Marcus Skytt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulf Nordlander might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vince Di Cola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulf Nordlander ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute Wu Qi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in DIF LEEDS BK's zone, Wu Qi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brazilio Butt came out of the goal and Wu Qi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute Mei Jie Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Di Cola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silviu Novac kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Brazilio Butt made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Wu Qi sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Samurai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taha Campbell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wu Qi struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Brazilio Butt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samurai. Brazilio Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wu Qi, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Wu Qi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DIF LEEDS BK made a substitution. Jesper Larsson replaced Mei Jie Feng. Samurai made a substitution. Esbjörn Hultstrand replaced Wu Qi. Allan Bivall succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 72nd playminute. Ulf Nordlander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Vince Di Cola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt got control of the ball when Esbjörn Hultstrand tried to sneak it across the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Samurai's Esbjörn Hultstrand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brazilio Butt narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
