With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Mortimer Noel in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natal Burcena saved C.D.P. from getting behind. Rudolfo Giraldez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darrem Stollmeyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rayman Tellez in the 7th minute of play. When Osei Webber fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chaguanas AC's protests and gave Osei Webber a yellow card for diving instead. Osei Webber kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Darrem Stollmeyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tulio Garival, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Darrem Stollmeyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordarrol Areta in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Cordarrol Areta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.D.P. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Chaguanas AC's goal looked a bit too open when Rayman Tellez came free, but Darrem Stollmeyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rayman Tellez in the 23rd minute of play forced Chaguanas AC's goalkeeper Darrem Stollmeyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes in the game, Mortimer Rahamut fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Natal Burcena having to interfere. With his leg Natal Burcena managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Chaguanas AC's Edgar Mortimer Noel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 27 played minutes Chaguanas AC got a freekick which was hit by Mortimer Rahamut. Natal Burcena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Mortimer Noel in the 30th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Chaguanas AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osei Webber to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute of the match Roger Horna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darrem Stollmeyer skillfully saved the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a rather tough play, C.D.P.'s Cordarrol Areta got a free kick in the 51st minute. The supporters of Chaguanas AC booed when C.D.P. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolfo Giraldez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mortimer Rahamut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natal Burcena having to interfere. If Edgar Mortimer Noel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chaguanas AC's Darrem Stollmeyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rayman Tellez in the 65th minute of play. Roger Horna hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match Anantanand Mottley sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natal Burcena skillfully saved the ball. When Edgar Mortimer Noel came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Chaguanas AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Mortimer Noel couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Chaguanas AC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mikela Sylvester-Williams hit a great ball. Rudolfo Giraldez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Darrem Stollmeyer made a huge save. C.D.P.'s Rayman Tellez got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rudolfo Giraldez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chaguanas AC's zone, Tulio Garival stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darrem Stollmeyer came out of the goal and Tulio Garival tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
