BenjamÃn Pincheira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuel Gundin. Laions FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 5 minutes, Rodrigo Nordman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marquesas AFC and the Laions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Rodrigo Nordman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elazar Alzerreca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galindo Cotillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Laions FC's Emanuel Gundin got control of the ball when Alifonso Cienfuegos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erik Segarra came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emanuel Gundin could save by the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Laions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodemo Maiza came free, but Emanuel Gundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frichoso Suso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alifonso Cienfuegos got free with Emanuel Gundin in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Laions FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Gundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alifonso Cienfuegos. During the 25th minute of the match Rodrigo Nordman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rodrigo Nordman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 26th match minute, Marquesas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Nordman to maneuver through the defense. Galindo Cotillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Marquesas AFC defense, Frichoso Suso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elazar Alzerreca. The Marquesas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elazar Alzerreca should have stopped the shot. Elazar Alzerreca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artal Echave in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laions FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Gundin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alifonso Cienfuegos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Gundin having to interfere. Erik Segarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Emanuel Gundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
57 minutes into the match, Marquesas AFC's goalkeeper Elazar Alzerreca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Galindo Cotillo. In the 57th minute, Galoer Eibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galindo Cotillo in the 60th minute of play forced Marquesas AFC's goalkeeper Elazar Alzerreca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Kaiet Malo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Marquesas AFC's zone, Artal Echave stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elazar Alzerreca came out of the goal and Artal Echave tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Kaiet Malo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elazar Alzerreca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Laions FC's Artal Echave nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elazar Alzerreca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 77th minute Alifonso Cienfuegos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Gundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Marquesas AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jimeno Laferte hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Laions FC's Kaiet Malo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Galindo Cotillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Elazar Alzerreca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Kaiet Malo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elazar Alzerreca was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Galindo Cotillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Elazar Alzerreca made a huge save. A collision led to Marquesas AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Nicodemo Maiza hit a great ball. Elazar Alzerreca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artal Echave in the 95th minute of the match. Laions FC played a much better game than Marquesas AFC and deserved their victory. The Marquesas AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
