After 26 played minutes, Pronunciamiento FC's Gerardo Hernando shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lino Baumer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pronunciamiento FC reached it. Evelio Primo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Romulo Seber when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 30 played minutes, when Elpasillo FC:s Evelio Primo calmly waited for Pronunciamiento FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 33rd minute, Evelio Thomas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerardo Hernando kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Elpasillo FC's Evelio Primo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliberto Sanchez's late challenge caught a Elpasillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliberto Sanchez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Pronunciamiento FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Sanchez to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Delmiro Ladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliberto Sanchez in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Baumer saved Elpasillo FC from getting behind. Romulo Seber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Seber came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Elpasillo FC's Evelio Thomas. But to his dismay, Evelio Thomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ceferino Ireno to make the kick off. A hard shot 54 in the game by Feliberto Sanchez from a close distance when the talented Lino Baumer managed to make a qualified save. Elpasillo FC's players were relieved. Lino Baumer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceferino Ireno's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Elpasillo FC's goalkeeper Lino Baumer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Sanchez. Evelio Thomas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ceferino Ireno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lino Baumer. That made the score 2-1 in the 75 minute of play. Romulo Seber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Evelio Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elpasillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evelio Thomas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Seber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Elpasillo FC's Pascual Eate got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Silverio Firme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lino Baumer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Ireno in the 93rd minute of play. Feliberto Sanchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Lino Baumer made a huge save.
