Juliusz Slazak kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Modlau's Lew Yashin got control of the ball when Sharma Sharma tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Sharma Sharma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lew Yashin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute Damazy Jucha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Cwynar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sharma Sharma did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Lew Yashin 18 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, KS Olimpia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiusz Smuskiewicz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Artur Adamski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modlau's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Adamski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Cwynar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes in the game Ostap Geilarov did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ortle Sancho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sharma Sharma got free with Lew Yashin in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sharma Sharma in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lew Yashin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Waldemar Cwynar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry McCray in the 35th minute of the match. Ostap Geilarov hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Lew Yashin made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Sharma Sharma sent off a good shot on target. Arkadiusz Smuskiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute Sharma Sharma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barry McCray made a kick off. Sharma Sharma scored 4-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lew Yashin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sharma Sharma in the 57th minute of play forced Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Modlau defense, Sharma Sharma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lew Yashin. The Modlau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lew Yashin should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, Damazy Jucha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Waldemar Cwynar. The goal made the score 5-1. Lew Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sharma Sharma in the 69th minute of play. If Sharma Sharma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lew Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sharma Sharma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ortle Sancho during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KS Olimpia Warszawa booed when Modlau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ortle Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. KS Olimpia Warszawa made a substitution. Jack Sugar replaced Lachezar Tetevenski. Sharma Sharma took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lew Yashin. The KS Olimpia Warszawa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Modlau had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
