Glenn Fyfe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taco Van Der Hoorn in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Taco Van Der Hoorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taco Van Der Hoorn in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, KS Górce Bemowo's goal looked a bit too open when James Batistuta came free, but Tadeusz Chmelyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, A4p FC Gad's James Batistuta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as James Batistuta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tadeusz Chmelyk. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. King Scorpio made a great header on A4p FC Gad's corner, it was just that KS Górce Bemowo's Tadeusz Chmelyk managed to reach the ball for a save. 37 minutes into the game, Taco Van Der Hoorn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Glenn Fyfe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Anfilogino Manzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42ndth minute of the game James Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Górce Bemowo's Tadeusz Chmelyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taco Van Der Hoorn in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Taco Van Der Hoorn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glenn Fyfe. A4p FC Gad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Taco Van Der Hoorn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Fabian Tomiczek, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. The supporters of KS Górce Bemowo booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cătălin Răduleț didn't get a good kick on the ball. KS Górce Bemowo's Tadeusz Chmelyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Löfgren in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, A4p FC Gad's Daniel Löfgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeusz Chmelyk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. KS Górce Bemowo made a substitution. Kusti Jõeäär replaced Ragnar Wingaard. KS Górce Bemowo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
