Nevinnomyssk's Aleksandr Malinovkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Baiano in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedrão Gomes in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksandr Malinovkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albert Gnedenko hit a great ball. In the 34th minute of the match, Ilya Volkov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wellington Berger saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 35 played minutes Nevinnomyssk got a freekick which was hit by Marat Balkashin. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nevinnomyssk reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

With his leg Aleksandr Malinovkin managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Maneskin FC's Pedrão Gomes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 53rd minute, Edu Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Carneiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aleksandr Malinovkin. Nevinnomyssk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Nevinnomyssk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marat Balkashin to maneuver through the defense. If Mané Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aleksandr Malinovkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilya Volkov in the 81st minute of play forced Maneskin FC's goalkeeper Wellington Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Nevinnomyssk's Aleksandr Malinovkin got control of the ball when Pedrão Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Many of Maneskin FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Maneskin FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Nevinnomyssk were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
