After having played for 12 minutes, Blas Orlanda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matadores Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Orlanda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blas Orlanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Graas having to interfere. A collision led to Matadores Fc getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Efrain Palban hit a great ball. Francesco Graas made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Blas Orlanda sent off a good shot on target. SIX LUX's Samuel Schmit got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guido Anaya charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Anaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SIX LUX booed when Matadores Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Anaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SIX LUX's goalkeeper Francesco Graas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guido Anaya might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francesco Graas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Anaya ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to SIX LUX getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ernie Zaugg hit a great ball. When Blas Orlanda came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Matadores Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Orlanda couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Palban during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Efrain Palban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, SIX LUX's goalkeeper Francesco Graas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blas Orlanda. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blas Orlanda to strike the kick off in the second half. Guido Anaya was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Matadores Fc's Guido Anaya got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Geronimo Estavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes, Gregory Hilgendorf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SIX LUX and the Matadores Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gregory Hilgendorf kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Geronimo Estavan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Graas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes SIX LUX got a freekick which was hit by Gerry Müller. A collision led to Matadores Fc getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Efrain Palban hit a great ball. Cosme Mitxel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francesco Graas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Francesco Graas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cosme Mitxel went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Geronimo Estavan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Francesco Graas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosme Mitxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matadores Fc's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
