Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustaw Wolicki started the match with the kick off. Andris Ablij scored 0-1 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olaf Grabski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 6 played minutes Sassenhout got a freekick which was hit by Andris Ablij. After a defensive mix-up in Sassenhout's zone, Beniamin Gruchacz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert-Jan Algoedt came out of the goal and Beniamin Gruchacz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, FC Exiles's goal looked a bit too open when Senne Paaps came free, but Olaf Grabski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ian Krabbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Senne Paaps notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Exiles's Olaf Grabski. Olaf Grabski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andris Ablij's late challenge caught a FC Exiles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andris Ablij helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Sassenhout got a freekick which was hit by Andris Ablij. Patryk Wyrzykowski kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Senne Paaps notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Exiles's Olaf Grabski. Olaf Grabski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute, Gabriel Cockaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute Andris Ablij shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Grabski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Stefan Raemakers notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FC Exiles's Olaf Grabski. Olaf Grabski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the game, Stefan Raemakers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Olaf Grabski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute, Andris Ablij left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sassenhout fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Beniamin Gruchacz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evert-Jan Algoedt having to make a save. Evert-Jan Algoedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Gruchacz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Stefan Raemakers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Olaf Grabski made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Cockaerts in the 70th minute of play forced FC Exiles's goalkeeper Olaf Grabski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Senne Paaps reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olaf Grabski. The goal made the score 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Senne Paaps in the 78th minute of play forced FC Exiles's goalkeeper Olaf Grabski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Exiles's Patryk Wyrzykowski got a free kick in the 79th minute. Senne Paaps was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of FC Exiles booed when Sassenhout was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Cockaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Wolicki in the 85th minute of play forced Sassenhout's goalkeeper Evert-Jan Algoedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walter De Raedemaecker during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Sassenhout's Gabriel Cockaerts ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olaf Grabski. Olaf Grabski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Sassenhout's Evert-Jan Algoedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beniamin Gruchacz in the 97th minute of play. Sassenhout's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
