Maureo Izcaray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Gagriel's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maureo Izcaray, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 21st minute Erruki Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kacper Tobias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes of play, Tigre's Ermegildo Rodriguez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maureo Izcaray was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 played minutes FC Bilbao got a freekick which was hit by Bidun Oñativia. Kacper Tobias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erruki Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tigre's Paolo Gagriel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maureo Izcaray. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. Paolo Gagriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Maureo Izcaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tigre's goalkeeper Kacper Tobias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Renaldo Madinabeitia hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Paolo Gagriels short, quick shot in the 49thth minute got Maureo Izcaray to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erruki Veloso was the one to do the kick off. If Paolo Gagriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Paolo Gagriel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigre's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Gagriel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maureo Izcaray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Bilbao's Maureo Izcaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Gagriel in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Bilbao defense, Ermegildo Rodriguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maureo Izcaray. The FC Bilbao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maureo Izcaray should have stopped the shot. In the 69thth minute of the game Paolo Gagriel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bilbao's Maureo Izcaray was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Segio Burriaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kacper Tobias having to interfere. The Tigre fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Tigre's Paolo Gagriel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 79 minutes into the match, Paolo Gagriel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maureo Izcaray. FC Bilbao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Gagriel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 83 minutes into the match, FC Bilbao's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Gagriel came free, but Maureo Izcaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Gagriel took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maureo Izcaray. Maureo Izcaray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. The supporters of FC Bilbao booed when Tigre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Gabirel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segio Burriaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kacper Tobias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erruki Veloso in the 94th minute of the match.
