Yala's Octavio Ferrer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Yala from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Mederi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altay Bayındır having to interfere. In the 35th minute Abdülhak Kebir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Ferrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Claude's late challenge caught a SARI ZEYBEK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Claude helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Yala getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Freddy Claude hit a great ball.
