Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) New England Minas's Edgardo Silva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Edgardo Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Carlos Eduardo Alves in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by New England Minas's Conny Tingberg. Vassilis Nentakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 12th minute of play. Vassilis Nentakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Jörgen Frohm with Edgardo Silva as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Klas Billström fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Pindorama Eagles's protests and gave Klas Billström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Klas Billström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Ştefan Magheran was substituted for Róbson Velasco. New England Minas were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Glen Conklin took the corner. The corner led New England Minas's Glen Conklin to fire away a dangerous shot which Vassilis Nentakis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Tony Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Alperen Öksüz got a free kick in the 29th minute. After recieving a nice pass, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Gugu Netto tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vassilis Nentakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Pacheco in the 31st minute of play. Vassilis Nentakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Glen Conklin was slow to take the kick. During this time New England Minas's players had a chance to rest. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ştefan Magheran to make the kick off. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Magheran in the 51st minute of play. In the 56th minute Ştefan Magheran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ştefan Magheran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. New England Minas made a substitution. Hipolito Emenon replaced Jörgen Frohm. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Pasha Opara was substituted for Gugu Netto. New England Minas's Tio Lio was substituted for Edgardo Silva. New England Minas made a substitution. Emmitt Benson replaced Alperen Öksüz. Klas Billström kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Vassilis Nentakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tio Lio. In the 71st minute Pasha Opara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Pacheco in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pasha Opara in the 73rd minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Frits van Gaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tio Lio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Emmitt Benson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 minutes of play, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Ştefan Magheran made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremy Nicholas was left in no man's land by his defense there! S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Pindorama Eagles from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Frits van Gaal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremy Nicholas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
