Costin Verzea ran back to his position shaking his head. 9 minutes into the match, Fondas's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Verzea came free, but Dayam Babiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Costin Verzea made a precise shot to the right of Dayam Babiano. Fondas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Adriano Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 minutes, Oskarbi Perero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fondas and the Diamond Crown FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oskarbi Perero kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Costin Verzea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fondas's Dayam Babiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Diamond Crown FC's Costin Verzea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dayam Babiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 42nd minute, Costin Verzea made a precise shot to the right of Dayam Babiano. Fondas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Verzea in the 52nd minute of play forced Fondas's goalkeeper Dayam Babiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes, Costin Verzea made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Fondas's Dayam Babiano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Costin Verzea might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dayam Babiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costin Verzea ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Verzea in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dayam Babiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerônimo Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dayam Babiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fondas's zone, Artem Ustinov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dayam Babiano came out of the goal and Artem Ustinov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costin Verzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dayam Babiano made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Costin Verzea sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Costin Verzea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diamond Crown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Costin Verzea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dayam Babiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fondas's Dayam Babiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Fondas from getting a goal against them. Diamond Crown FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
