After 18 minutes, Jaakko Ramstadius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granate and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaakko Ramstadius to maneuver through the defense. Granate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Usko Ruuttu in the 22nd minute. Usko Ruuttu made a great header on Granate's corner, it was just that Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski managed to reach the ball for a save. Jaakko Ramstadius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. Granate's Donato Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şevket Çağa in the 26th minute of play. Christos Triantafyllou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. Jaakko Ramstadius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pankracy Glogowski having to make a save. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Triantafyllou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christos Triantafyllou to make the kick off. A collision led to Granate getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Osvaldo Euloxu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 55th minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Donato Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Triantafyllou in the 56th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Glogowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisito Estevon in the 62nd minute. Donato Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Jaizki, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Triantafyllou in the 65th minute of play. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Triantafyllou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Granate's Usko Ruuttu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Glogowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Estevon in the 68th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Pankracy Glogowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner led Granate's Usko Ruuttu to fire away a dangerous shot which Pankracy Glogowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Luisito Estevon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Glogowski came out of the goal and Luisito Estevon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donato Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Luisito Estevon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Granate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
