The Rot-Weiss-Essen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that August Hoffmanns should have stopped the shot. Belo Alvarez scored 4-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of August Hoffmanns, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the game, A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. August Hoffmanns made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. August Hoffmanns made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Belo Alvarezs short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got August Hoffmanns to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Rot-Weiss-Essen booed when A.D. Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belo Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Mayor kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. August Hoffmanns came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez. But to his dismay, Belo Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting a goal against them. When Erlantz Bermejo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the A.D. Alcorcón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erlantz Bermejo couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belo Alvarez got free with August Hoffmanns in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xesc Jorquera hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Maximilian Henning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Belo Alvarez was the one to do the kick off. Belo Alvarez struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. August Hoffmanns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D. Alcorcón. August Hoffmanns didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belo Alvarez went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 57th minute Belo Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hoffmanns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurino Serena made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Maximilian Henning sent off a good shot on target. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belo Alvarez in the 59th minute of play. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas was substituted for Nereo Acosta. A.D. Alcorcón's Eusebio Quijana was substituted for Natxo Cacheres. A.D. Alcorcón were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Rot-Weiss-Essen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erlantz Bermejo took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Udo Käppeler during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rot-Weiss-Essen! Rot-Weiss-Essen:s August Hoffmanns showed great skill when he stopped Leroy Antunez:s penalty. Leroy Antunez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. August Hoffmanns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goal looked a bit too open when Belo Alvarez came free, but August Hoffmanns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Belo Alvarez notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns. August Hoffmanns was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, Belo Alvarez made a precise shot to the right of August Hoffmanns. Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. In the 83rd minute, Belo Alvarez made a precise shot to the right of August Hoffmanns. Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. After 86 minutes of play, A.D. Alcorcón's Leroy Antunez made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalkeeper August Hoffmanns, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A.D. Alcorcón's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
