An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Västerberg in the 2nd minute of play forced Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalkeeper August Hoffmanns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aquilino Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Rot-Weiss-Essen getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Christoph Beckert hit a great ball. Topo Riquelme struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. August Hoffmanns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.F.Fuenlabrada. Topo Riquelme kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Edward Västerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of August Hoffmanns. Rot-Weiss-Essen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Västerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Västerberg in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg August Hoffmanns saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. Topo Riquelme hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Edward Västerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over August Hoffmanns. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Västerberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Rot-Weiss-Essen's zone, Aquilino Luke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Hoffmanns came out of the goal and Aquilino Luke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Edward Västerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hoffmanns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match C.F.Fuenlabrada got a corner. Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Topo Riquelme ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 28th match minute, C.F.Fuenlabrada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Topo Riquelme to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Haupt came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sebastián Torrico could save by the left post. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 35th minute of play. Edward Västerberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without August Hoffmanns having to make a save. After 39 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Ansgar Küpper-Adebisi. 42 minutes into the match, C.F.Fuenlabrada's Edward Västerberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that August Hoffmanns narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Hakem Al Khames was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rot-Weiss-Essen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.F.Fuenlabrada the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Hakem Al Khames got a free kick in the 46th minute. C.F.Fuenlabrada made a substitution. Julien Million replaced Topo Riquelme. C.F.Fuenlabrada's Laureano Perfecto was substituted for Aquilino Luke. After 49 played minutes C.F.Fuenlabrada got a freekick which was hit by Topo Riquelme. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bianco Cherubini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Bianco Cherubini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of August Hoffmanns. Bianco Cherubini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. August Hoffmanns was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Bianco Cherubini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bianco Cherubini really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Bianco Cherubini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. August Hoffmanns came out and tried to block the shot, but Bianco Cherubini slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 63rd minute. Bianco Cherubini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without August Hoffmanns having to make a save. August Hoffmanns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bianco Cherubini in the 69th minute of the match. C.F.Fuenlabrada's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
