Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jakarta Wanderers FC's Leszek Laba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 9th minute of play. Luis Urruti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but August Hoffmanns made a huge save. Bima Lasut charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bima Lasut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Bima Lasut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leszek Laba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ansgar Küpper-Adebisi in the 18th minute of the match. During the 20th minute of the match Bima Lasut completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bima Lasut a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Jakarta Wanderers FC's Bima Lasut got a free kick in the 20th minute. A collision led to Rot-Weiss-Essen getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Maximilian Henning hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Jakarta Wanderers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anestis Kotsopoulos came free, but Leszek Laba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leszek Laba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Haupt in the 33rd minute of play. Hugo Haupt took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leszek Laba. Leszek Laba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 40 minutes into the match, Maximilian Henning had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leszek Laba. Jakarta Wanderers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximilian Henning was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 43rdth minute of the game Hugo Haupt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jakarta Wanderers FC's Leszek Laba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Luke Skywalker made the kick off in the second half. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke Skywalker in the 54th minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, Jakarta Wanderers FC's Luke Skywalker made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. August Hoffmanns was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 56 minutes, Dasep Sitanggang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jakarta Wanderers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dasep Sitanggang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuntet Arbi in the 63rd minute of play forced Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalkeeper August Hoffmanns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Kuntet Arbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hoffmanns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Anestis Kotsopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leszek Laba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Maximilian Henning took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leszek Laba. Leszek Laba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The audience was convinced that Anestis Kotsopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leszek Laba was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Luis Urruti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard and well directed shot from Mesut Özil led 75 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Jakarta Wanderers FC's Leszek Laba became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-6. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Leszek Laba successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leszek Laba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anestis Kotsopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Jakarta Wanderers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anestis Kotsopoulos came free, but Leszek Laba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rot-Weiss-Essen's Hugo Haupt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leszek Laba. That made the score 1-7 after 87 minutes of play.
