In the 4th minute, Aquilino Luke made a precise shot to the right of Yan Chong Sen. Palloketut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heino Helkamo in the 7th minute of play forced C.F.Fuenlabrada's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, C.F.Fuenlabrada's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Voitto Nyrhinen. After having played for 11 minutes, Edward Västerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.F.Fuenlabrada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Västerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Topo Riquelme came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the C.F.Fuenlabrada fans jumped to their feet. Palloketut's Yan Chong Sen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Luke in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Västerberg came free, but Yan Chong Sen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Romelu Lukaku fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palloketut's protests and gave Romelu Lukaku a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Voitto Nyrhinen got free with Sebastián Torrico in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Västerberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Antti Väisänen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Voitto Nyrhinen in the 54th minute of play forced C.F.Fuenlabrada's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Västerberg came free, but Yan Chong Sen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rikhard Elomo in the 57th minute of play. The corner ended in Toni Fabich almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.F.Fuenlabrada's Sebastián Torrico did a great save. Sebastián Torrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Voitto Nyrhinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Palloketut's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Edward Västerberg scored to the left of an out of position Yan Chong Sen, making the score, 1-4. After some careless play in the C.F.Fuenlabrada defense, Voitto Nyrhinen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastián Torrico. The C.F.Fuenlabrada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastián Torrico should have stopped the shot. Julien Million sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.F.Fuenlabrada eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
