With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toni Fabich in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg August Hoffmanns saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toni Fabich in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck August Hoffmanns prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goal looked a bit too open when Anestis Kotsopoulos came free, but Yan Chong Sen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toni Fabich in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg August Hoffmanns saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. Anestis Kotsopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yan Chong Sen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anestis Kotsopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Toni Fabich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. August Hoffmanns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikhard Elomo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Voitto Nyrhinen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palloketut fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 27 minutes, Toni Fabich made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Fabich in the 33rd minute of play. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Fabich in the 36th minute of play. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Toni Fabich sped through Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of August Hoffmanns. In the 42nd minute Toni Fabich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hoffmanns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Toni Fabich made a precise shot to the right of August Hoffmanns. Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Tommi Kangasmäki struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. August Hoffmanns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palloketut. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toni Fabich to strike the kick off in the second half. August Hoffmanns came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Palloketut's Heino Helkamo. But to his dismay, Heino Helkamo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 55 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goal looked a bit too open when Voitto Nyrhinen came free, but August Hoffmanns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Toni Fabich ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. August Hoffmanns was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. When Toni Fabich in the 60th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or August Hoffmanns kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-8 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When Toni Fabich came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Palloketut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toni Fabich couldn't finish the play. Palloketut's Toni Fabich got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christoph Beckert hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Yan Chong Sen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 69th minute of play forced Palloketut's goalkeeper Yan Chong Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximilian Henning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Chong Sen having to interfere. August Hoffmanns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toni Fabich's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute of the match Palloketut got a corner. Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tommi Kangasmäki ran over to the corner to take the kick. August Hoffmanns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Fabich in the 76th minute of the match. With a little luck, Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns got control of the ball when Voitto Nyrhinen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anestis Kotsopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Yan Chong Sen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Henning in the 86th minute of play forced Palloketut's goalkeeper Yan Chong Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toni Fabichs short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got August Hoffmanns to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Palloketut's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tommi Kangasmäki in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Felix Balzer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rot-Weiss-Essen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palloketut the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Felix Balzer got a free kick in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toni Fabich got free with August Hoffmanns in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian Henning to maneuver through the defense. Toni Fabichs short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got August Hoffmanns to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Palloketut played a much better game than Rot-Weiss-Essen and deserved their victory. The Rot-Weiss-Essen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
