Palloketut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Voitto Nyrhinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Jakarta Wanderers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heino Helkamo came free, but Leszek Laba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Jakarta Wanderers FC's goalkeeper Leszek Laba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toni Fabich. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Urruti to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Urruti got free with Yan Chong Sen in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Voitto Nyrhinen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jakarta Wanderers FC! Leszek Laba went to the wrong direction when Voitto Nyrhinen was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Palloketut's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
