The Granate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Lorenz should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Euloxu during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Euloxu to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Columbo came free, but Donato Lorenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia 1903's Primo Speranza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Triantafyllou in the 19th minute of play. Timoteo Columbo scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Lorenz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Granate's Donato Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Academia 1903's Benjamin Myhr got a free kick in the 25th minute. Donato Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Columbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Timoteo Columbo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Lorenz was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Academia 1903's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harald Ek in the 31st minute. Academia 1903's Harald Ek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Donato Lorenz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Academia 1903 were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Granate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harald Ek took the corner. After 40 minutes of play, Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Lorenz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donato Lorenz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Columbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marco Rincón fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia 1903's protests and gave Marco Rincón a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Academia 1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Rincón to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldo Euloxu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timoteo Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Lorenz having to interfere. Granate's Donato Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Academia 1903 booed when Granate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Olando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Academia 1903's Gérard Magyar was substituted for Harald Ek. A collision led to Granate getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eriberto Olando hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match Academia 1903 got a corner. Granate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gérard Magyar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gérard Magyar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Granate's Donato Lorenz did a great save. Academia 1903 were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Granate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gérard Magyar took the corner. After taking down the ball on Academia 1903's corner Gérard Magyar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Donato Lorenz quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Granate's zone, Gérard Magyar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Lorenz came out of the goal and Gérard Magyar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Academia 1903's Jeremias Ezkerra in the 73rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Donato Lorenz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Granate through an amazing save. Timoteo Columbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Donato Lorenz made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Timoteo Columbo sent off a good shot on target. Donato Lekubegi hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Timoteo Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Lorenz having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Timoteo Columbo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Donato Lorenz. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 86th minute, Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 90th minute Academia 1903 were awarded a corner. Gérard Magyar went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 91st minute, Granate's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Timoteo Columbo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 93rd minute, Gérard Magyar made a precise shot to the right of Donato Lorenz. Granate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. When the match was over Academia 1903 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Granate throughout the match.
