Stefano Hubli hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Palloketut defense, Jonas Herz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yan Chong Sen. The Palloketut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan Chong Sen should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 13 in the game by Jonas Herz from a close distance when the talented Yan Chong Sen managed to make a qualified save. Palloketut's players were relieved. In the 21st minute, Serge Tomasini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Voitto Nyrhinen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sepp Mainville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Palloketut's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tommi Kangasmäki in the 25th minute. It was a well-played corner which Heino Helkamo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some careless play in the Zelg FC defense, Heino Helkamo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sepp Mainville. The Zelg FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sepp Mainville should have stopped the shot. Zelg FC's Stephan Eichenberger quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ali Ruohiainen, made in the 30th minute of the game. Yan Chong Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irwin Monney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goalkeeper Yan Chong Sen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilles Clerc. In the 42nd minute, Jonas Herz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yan Chong Sen, passed just outside the right post. In the 46th minute, Gilles Clerc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Voitto Nyrhinen came free, but Sepp Mainville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toni Fabich stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonas Herz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yan Chong Sen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Toni Fabich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Mainville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heino Helkamo in the 59th minute of play forced Zelg FC's goalkeeper Sepp Mainville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62nd play minutes Jonas Herz shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Yan Chong Sen and just under the crossbar into goal. Gilles Clerc hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heino Helkamo in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toni Fabich in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sepp Mainville saved Zelg FC from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Herz in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Chong Sen saved Palloketut from getting behind. Sepp Mainville made an important save on a dangerous shot by Voitto Nyrhinen in the 83rd minute. Sepp Mainville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rikhard Elomo in the 84th minute of the match. Jonas Herz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Chong Sen having to interfere. Palloketut's Doğuş Turabi was substituted for Marcus Hjelm. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Herz in the 93rd minute of play forced Palloketut's goalkeeper Yan Chong Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
