Sepp Mainville came out of the goal and Timoteo Columbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélio Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Herz in the 11th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Columbo came free, but Sepp Mainville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timoteo Columbo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sepp Mainville prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Zelg FC's Jonas Herz in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia 1903's goalie prevented a goal. If Timoteo Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Columbo got free with Sepp Mainville in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pastor Elequemedo's late challenge caught a Zelg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Elequemedo helped the player get up and apologised. Sepp Mainville was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Timoteo Columbo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Timoteo Columbo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Timoteo Columbo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sepp Mainville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Timoteo Columbo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Sepp Mainville to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Jonas Herz made the kick off in the second half. Hélio Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irwin Monney in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sepp Mainville narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lenny Traugott kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Zelg FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Lenny Traugott hit a great ball. Nicanor Morenø scored 4-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sepp Mainville, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zelg FC's goalkeeper Sepp Mainville, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hélio Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Herz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Academia 1903's Nicanor Morenø in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 76thth minute of the game Nicanor Morenø who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Academia 1903's Nicanor Morenø fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When Academia 1903's Nicanor Morenø in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zelg FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Academia 1903.
