The Konurbano Atletico fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Konurbano Atletico's Cristian Ronaldo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fernan Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. Hugo Botello kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Teobaldo Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toro Martínez in the 9th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Toro Martínez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teobaldo Demario. Konurbano Atletico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toro Martínez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Teobaldo Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toro Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Toro Martínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 26 minutes into the match, Konurbano Atletico's goal looked a bit too open when Toro Martínez came free, but Teobaldo Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toro Martínez might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Demario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toro Martínez ran back to his position shaking his head. Teobaldo Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Terciero in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Konurbano Atletico's Severiano Tiadoro was substituted for Remigiusz Bubczyk. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toro Martínez to make the kick off. Teobaldo Demario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toro Martínez in the 53rd minute. Krzysztof Pochorylo's late challenge caught a Despidida AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Krzysztof Pochorylo helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Konurbano Atletico got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Pochorylo. Konurbano Atletico's Teobaldo Demario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Konurbano Atletico from getting a goal against them. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Pastor Tino replaced Arturo Arano. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco was substituted for Toro Martínez. Despidida AFC's Szymon Pyrzyce quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maximino Terciero, made in the 59th minute of the game. In the 59th match minute, Konurbano Atletico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Tiadoro to maneuver through the defense. With 62 minutes on the clock, Emanuel Lucila commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Konurbano Atletico. Maximino Terciero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernando Selatse. 2-2. 69 minutes into the game, Emiliano Velasco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teobaldo Demario. Emiliano Velasco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Teobaldo Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abi Schrape in the 77th minute of play. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abi Schrape in the 80th minute of the match. Teobaldo Demario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 86th minute. Emiliano Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Velasco got free with Teobaldo Demario in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teobaldo Demario came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco. But to his dismay, Emiliano Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Despidida AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
