Severo Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira got control of the ball when Severo Bermudo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radoslaw Klocko got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Severo Bermudo. When Sandu Mândrilă came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Playa Malvín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandu Mândrilă couldn't finish the play. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Bermudo in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Utopía Muerta FC were awarded a corner. Fermin Martinez went to the cornerflag to take it. When Playa Malvín's Fred Åkerström in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Bermudo got free with Zé Roberto Teixeira in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Playa Malvín fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Playa Malvín's Fred Åkerström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Fred Åkerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 54th minute, Fred Åkerström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mano Hume was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 60 minutes, Severo Bermudo made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Sesuldo Roque replaced Sandu Mândrilă. Utopía Muerta FC made a substitution. Ramón Furtado replaced Prudencio Ubelteso. In the 66th match minute, Utopía Muerta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Brás to maneuver through the defense. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ramón Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Playa Malvín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Roberto Teixeira should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Niva Espellosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mano Hume was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
