Pastor Montrell hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's Severo Bermudo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Arendarski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Utopía Muerta FC's zone, Karol Borowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mano Hume came out of the goal and Karol Borowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severo Bermudo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Arendarski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Utopía Muerta FC were awarded a corner. Fermin Martinez went to the cornerflag to take it. Utopía Muerta FC's Fermin Martinez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emil Arendarski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Bermudo in the 30th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Utopía Muerta FC got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Santiago. David Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

56 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's Severo Bermudo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Arendarski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Utopía Muerta FC made a substitution. Armando Amarita replaced Anier Johans. Uriel Santiago made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C. A. Potrero's Ulises Bernad. Braulio Hibai took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Arendarski. Emil Arendarski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Furtado in the 66th minute of play. Emil Arendarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Furtado in the 69th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Utopía Muerta FC got a freekick which was hit by Zdeněk Kozlík. In the 76th minute Ramón Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Utopía Muerta FC's Armando Amarita got a free kick in the 79th minute. Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Borowski in the 80th minute of play. Utopía Muerta FC were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after C. A. Potrero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Armando Amarita took the corner. Utopía Muerta FC's Armando Amarita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emil Arendarski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emil Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Amarita, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Braulio Hibai came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Utopía Muerta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Hibai couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Braulio Hibai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Arendarski. C. A. Potrero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Hibai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. C. A. Potrero's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
