In the 19th minute of the match, Julien Staffelbach tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristian Vladimirescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Joel Emeterio hit a great ball. Cristian Vladimirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute Aureliano Karlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Vladimirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ had won after a very even match.
