In the 12thth minute of the game Rigoberto Endura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horquilla's Dante Leizarraga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Damian Huly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Leizarraga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Huly, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game Damian Huly who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horquilla's Dante Leizarraga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Endura in the 17th minute of play forced Horquilla's goalkeeper Dante Leizarraga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horquilla's Dante Leizarraga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Huly in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Horquilla's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Endura came free, but Dante Leizarraga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Defensores de Canito's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Rayman came free, but Jeronimo Feliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Defensores de Canito's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Luix came free, but Jeronimo Feliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Defensores de Canito's protests and gave Anselmo Llorian a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Canito's Anselmo Llorian got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Francisco Luix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Luix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Jeronimo Feliu made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergio Rayman made a kick off. Horquilla's Dante Leizarraga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Horquilla from getting a goal against them. When Defensores de Canito's Damian Huly in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Horquilla's goalie prevented a goal. Rigoberto Endura's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Leizarraga firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Defensores de Canito booed when Horquilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Leizarraga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Huly in the 65th minute of the match. With his leg Dante Leizarraga managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Defensores de Canito's Ladislao Soin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 68th minute, Esteban Domiku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Endura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dante Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Huly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Leizarraga having to make a save. Dante Leizarraga came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Canito's Rigoberto Endura. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Endura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Defensores de Canito's Jeronimo Feliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Rayman in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Sergio Rayman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeronimo Feliu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 79 minutes, Manuel Dominguez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horquilla and the Defensores de Canito players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Horquilla's Manuel Dominguez got a free kick in the 79th minute. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Rigoberto Endura put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Leizarraga. Dante Leizarraga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Soin in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Horquilla's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Endura came free, but Dante Leizarraga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Defensores de Canito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Addari to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Canito's zone, Sergio Rayman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Feliu came out of the goal and Sergio Rayman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Leizarraga made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Rigoberto Endura sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute of the match Defensores de Canito got a corner. Horquilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Corrado Addari ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Anselmo Llorian managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Huly in the 96th minute of play forced Horquilla's goalkeeper Dante Leizarraga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Defensores de Canito's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
