Quebracho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamish McShimes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Quebracho FC's Alexander Van Houdtvinck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Pernambucano in the 17th minute of play. Nicanor Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Higinio Porfiro made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Nicanor Flores dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Higinio Porfiro, 2-1. The supporters of Quebracho FC booed when LA MAQUINA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Savion didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Loco Borja managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA MAQUINA F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Loco Borja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Van Houdtvinck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardino Abastas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Porfiro having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardino Abastas to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardino Abastas in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Porfiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Higinio Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wouter De Brouwer, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Higinio Porfiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quebracho FC. Godofredo Tiadoro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Porfiro having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quebracho FC had won after a very even match.
