An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Flores in the 16th minute of play forced LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Higinio Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Van Houdtvinck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Alberto Pernambucano in the 17th minute. Higinio Porfiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardino Abastas went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Flores in the 30th minute of play forced LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Higinio Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Nicanor Flores made a precise shot to the right of Higinio Porfiro. LA MAQUINA F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Nicanor Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Rigoberto Turi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamish McShimes to make the kick off. Alexander Van Houdtvinck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamish McShimes in the 51st minute of play. Higinio Porfiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicanor Flores in the 55th minute. Nicanor Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Higinio Porfiro made a huge save. Higinio Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Abastas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quebracho FC's Eligijus Abakevičius was substituted for Nicanor Flores. 67 minutes into the game, Eligijus Abakevičius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Higinio Porfiro. Eligijus Abakevičius showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Eligijus Abakevičius's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Higinio Porfiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sérgio Berti hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Higinio Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Tiadoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The supporters of Quebracho FC booed when LA MAQUINA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loco Borja didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA MAQUINA F.C made a substitution. Joel Min replaced Sérgio Berti. Loco Borja kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Higinio Porfiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eligijus Abakevičius. Quebracho FC played a much better game than LA MAQUINA F.C and deserved their victory. The LA MAQUINA F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
