Gregorio Maiorga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Efraim's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Lobos de Carelia's Zeca Fernandez made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorio Maiorga was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Gabriel Efraim made a precise shot to the right of Gregorio Maiorga. Gregorio Maiorga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsenio Locaio was the one to do the kick off. Gregorio Maiorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquito Reyes in the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when Ceci Basket Ball Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Adrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeca Fernandez took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregorio Maiorga. Gregorio Maiorga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. Zeca Fernandez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Gregorio Maiorga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 82 minutes into the game, Lobos de Carelia's Chiquito Reyes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregorio Maiorga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. Zeca Fernandez scored 0-15 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregorio Maiorga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zeca Fernandez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-16 to the left of a surprised Gregorio Maiorga 91 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ceci Basket Ball Club defense, Chiquito Reyes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Maiorga. The Ceci Basket Ball Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Maiorga should have stopped the shot. Lobos de Carelia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
