Del Santo FC were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Papato Tatengue's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucjan Golaszewski took the corner. Filiberto Luke was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Chucho Cortez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chucho Cortez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Pancho Lemos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Filiberto Luke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute, Chucho Cortez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Filiberto Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Luciano Eleder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Eleder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Cordera, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute.
