But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Austin couldn't finish the play. After having played for 9 minutes, Primitivo Gaskon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Del Santo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Gaskon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Lucjan Golaszewski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Atletic Elooo's Iustin Zmărăndescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Del Santo FC's Luciano Eleder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Austin in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Atletic Elooo getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Joaquin Austin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Gaskon in the 26th minute of play forced Atletic Elooo's goalkeeper Clemente Mancaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atletic Elooo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucjan Golaszewski was slow to take the kick. During this time Del Santo FC's players had a chance to rest. Fortunato Mazzini kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Gaudencio Hernando hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chucho Cortez in the 39th minute of play forced Atletic Elooo's goalkeeper Clemente Mancaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquin Austin was the one to do the kick off. Joaquin Austin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Austin in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luciano Eleder, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 61st minute, Joaquin Austin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletic Elooo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luciano Eleder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Austin in the 65th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Joaquin Austin took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Luciano Eleder to make any attempt to save it. Atletic Elooo's Grégory Gardette was substituted for Joaquin Austin. Luciano Eleder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grégory Gardette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Eleder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grégory Gardette in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Del Santo FC's goalkeeper Luciano Eleder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Atletic Elooo's Emmanuel Anieva got a free kick in the 81st minute. A collision led to Atletic Elooo getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Emmanuel Anieva hit a great ball. If Grégory Gardette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luciano Eleder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grégory Gardette in the 93rd minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Grégory Gardette who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Del Santo FC's Luciano Eleder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herminio Gaizko's late challenge caught a Atletic Elooo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herminio Gaizko helped the player get up and apologised. Atletic Elooo played a much better game than Del Santo FC and deserved their victory. The Del Santo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
