In the 5th minute, Pablo Nafarroa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wladyslaw Brak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Mendebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes of play, Los Materos FC's Filomeno Mendebal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wladyslaw Brak was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Filomeno Mendebal, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 13 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Wladyslaw Brak was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Wladyslaw Brak came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Materos FC's Roland Danielsson. But to his dismay, Roland Danielsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Horacio Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Nafarroa got free with Lazaros Kabantais in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Los Materos FC's Lazaros Kabantais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Canor in the 29th minute of play. Wladyslaw Brak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Danielsson in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, LIBRIANOS FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Mendebal came free, but Wladyslaw Brak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by LIBRIANOS FUTBOL CLUB's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Horacio Abajas was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Materos FC's players had a chance to rest. Horacio Abajas scored 0-4 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wladyslaw Brak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, LIBRIANOS FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Abajas came free, but Wladyslaw Brak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens-Åke Björklund was the one to do the kick off. Lazaros Kabantais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Nafarroa in the 52nd minute of play. Los Materos FC made a substitution. Braulio Milian replaced Eleuterio Rufio. Los Materos FC made a substitution. Elias Furman replaced Horacio Abajas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Loup Villaume in the 70th minute of play forced LIBRIANOS FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Brak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. LIBRIANOS FUTBOL CLUB's Jens-Åke Björklund got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Milian got free with Wladyslaw Brak in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 89 minutes LIBRIANOS FUTBOL CLUB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Braulio Milian who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Braulio Milian got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wladyslaw Brak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wladyslaw Brak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tincho Palermo in the 92nd minute of play. Tincho Palermo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Wladyslaw Brak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 95 minutes into the match, LIBRIANOS FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Brak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tincho Palermo. Wladyslaw Brak made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Tincho Palermo sent off a good shot on target.
