After some careless play in the Guayamba AFC defense, Fausto Caton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Odilon. The Guayamba AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Odilon should have stopped the shot. Florentino Lauro's late challenge caught a Inter de zarate FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Lauro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Guayamba AFC's Florentino Lauro got a free kick in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceferino Oliverios during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Guayamba AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Oliverios to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Guayamba AFC's zone, Fausto Caton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Odilon came out of the goal and Fausto Caton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Godfredo Ortzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute of the match, Fausto Caton got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Odilon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julio Odilon came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de zarate FC's Fausto Caton. But to his dismay, Fausto Caton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Florentino Lauro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Fausto Caton notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Guayamba AFC's Julio Odilon. Julio Odilon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Inter de zarate FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fausto Caton in the 29th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Guayamba AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Savier to maneuver through the defense. Godfredo Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Julio Odilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Richard Pettersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Odilon was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Lauro in the 43rd minute of play forced Inter de zarate FC's goalkeeper Sixto Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Caton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florentino Lauro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guayamba AFC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Inter de zarate FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anibal Amor took the corner. After 53 played minutes Guayamba AFC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Karmel. Inter de zarate FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Guayamba AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fausto Caton took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Guayamba AFC's goalie and right to Angelito Di Maria. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Guayamba AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 58th minute Godfredo Ortzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Odilon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Caton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Caton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Godfredo Ortzi put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Odilon. Julio Odilon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Ortzi in the 68th minute of the match. Sixto Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Julio Odilon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Caton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godfredo Ortzi struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Julio Odilon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de zarate FC. In the 77th minute Fausto Caton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Odilon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Caton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Odilon having to make a save. Julio Odilon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Caton in the 78th minute of the match. Florentino Savier hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Inter de zarate FC's Godfredo Ortzi got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godfredo Ortzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Odilon having to make a save. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Fausto Caton sped through Guayamba AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Odilon. Julio Odilon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Ortzi in the 89th minute of the match. Fausto Caton struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Julio Odilon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de zarate FC. 93 minutes into the game, Fausto Caton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Julio Odilon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Inter de zarate FC were the better team. Inter de zarate FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
