Godfredo Obano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 俞飞剑, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Caradura's 胡寒军 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Orozco in the 19th minute of play. When Gervasio Chorache came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the ALEXANDRIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Chorache couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Jaime Selmo made a precise shot to the right of Godfredo Obano. ALEXANDRIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Jaime Selmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Selmo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Godfredo Obano came out and tried to block the shot, but Jaime Selmo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 28th minute. Richard Allcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Godfredo Obano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yağız Sidal kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, ALEXANDRIA's goalkeeper Godfredo Obano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Gaxan. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Allcock to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Gervasio Chorache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 胡寒军 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geoffrey Verhelst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Perrando in the 78th minute of play forced ALEXANDRIA's goalkeeper Godfredo Obano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, 俞飞剑 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Caradura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Enrique Ilazki took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 胡寒军. 胡寒军 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Deportivo Caradura's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
