After some careless play in the Papin AFC defense, Israel Edorta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Sustrai. In the 42nd minute, one of Papin AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Papin AFC. Disappointed in the 0-11 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cléber Catarinense was the one to do the kick off. Marcial Sustrai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manole Ciocârlan in the 51st minute. Cléber Catarinense took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Sustrai. Marcial Sustrai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Marcial Sustrai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Enol, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Cléber Catarinense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Marcial Sustrai when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcial Sustrai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Bruggink's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Marcial Sustrai was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manole Ciocârlan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-14 in the 67 minute of play. Manole Ciocârlan came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcial Sustrai could save by the left post. Marcial Sustrai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manole Ciocârlan in the 72nd minute. Marcial Sustrai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manole Ciocârlan got free with Marcial Sustrai in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Manole Ciocârlan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcial Sustrai. The goal made the score 0-20. Sport Club Abrilense's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
