Papin AFC's Marcial Sustrai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yüce Vecdi in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Caprichosos FC's Filiberto Bermudo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Sustrai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 29 played minutes Papin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Jacob. Marcial Sustrai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yüce Vecdi in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Papin AFC defense, Doug Stanley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Sustrai. The Papin AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Sustrai should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Jeremias Ferrando put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Marcial Sustrai. 38 minutes into the match, Papin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Bermudo came free, but Marcial Sustrai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Papin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Ederono to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Papin AFC's goalkeeper Marcial Sustrai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcial Sustrai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Bermudo in the 45th minute of the match. Papin AFC's Marcial Sustrai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Caniggia in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

With a little luck, Papin AFC's Marcial Sustrai got control of the ball when Filiberto Bermudo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicanor Pancho hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Yüce Vecdi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcial Sustrai firmly grabbed it by the left post. Papin AFC's Marcial Sustrai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Papin AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Filiberto Bermudo made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Sustrai. Papin AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Marcial Sustrai was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Doug Stanley capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Doug Stanley really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. 92 minutes into the game, Ladislao Cordarrel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcial Sustrai. Ladislao Cordarrel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12.
