Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Santiago Mino made the kick off which started today's match. POETAS DEL CESPED's Benigno Saturnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Mino in the 6th minute of play. Palermo's Alfredo Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Boniel in the 7th minute of play. POETAS DEL CESPED's Benigno Saturnin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save POETAS DEL CESPED from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Mino in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Saturnin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Arnoldo Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Carolo Rozarius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benigno Saturnin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Palermo's Alfredo Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Boniel in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match POETAS DEL CESPED got a corner. Palermo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silverio Boniel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Melchor Gonzalez made a great header on POETAS DEL CESPED's corner, it was just that Palermo's Alfredo Joey managed to reach the ball for a save. If Carolo Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, POETAS DEL CESPED's goalkeeper Benigno Saturnin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Mino. In the 29th match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carles Borg to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Silverio Boniel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Joey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in POETAS DEL CESPED's zone, Santiago Mino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Saturnin came out of the goal and Santiago Mino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Grove. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Peio in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Santiago Mino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benigno Saturnin. The goal made the score 2-0. Carolo Rozarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Benigno Saturnin made a huge save. Benigno Saturnin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximino Gonzalez went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Silverio Boniel hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After 53 minutes of play, Palermo's Maximino Gonzalez made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Saturnin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55th minute Carolo Rozarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Saturnin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Rozarius in the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Mino in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Saturnin saved POETAS DEL CESPED from getting behind. Palermo's Maximino Gonzalez got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Palermo made a substitution. Marcelino Chaime replaced Carolo Rozarius. In the 71st minute POETAS DEL CESPED were awarded a corner. Silverio Boniel went to the cornerflag to take it. Benigno Saturnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by POETAS DEL CESPED's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aquiles Eufemio was slow to take the kick. During this time Palermo's players had a chance to rest. Palermo's Marcelino Chaime was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benigno Saturnin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 76 minutes into the match, POETAS DEL CESPED's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Medina came free, but Benigno Saturnin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benigno Saturnin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Saturnin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palermo made a substitution. Jhonny Del Fierro replaced Arnoldo Medina. In the 87th minute of the match Palermo got a corner. POETAS DEL CESPED's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aquiles Eufemio ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Santiago Mino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 92 minutes of play, Palermo's Marcelino Chaime made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Saturnin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Saturnin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palermo fans cheered their team off the field, for while POETAS DEL CESPED had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
