Gavino Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eberhard Kühlem in the 16th minute of the match. Felipe Truylos kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match Metapalo FC got a corner. Zodiaco Star F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacinto Baumar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Florencio Otoniel kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Zodiaco Star F.C.'s goalkeeper Carolo Dunixi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dante Rafe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eberhard Kühlem in the 25th minute of play forced Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Gavino Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmar Eztebe might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Belarmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmar Eztebe ran back to his position shaking his head. Gavino Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Illan in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Eztebe came free, but Gavino Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Eztebe in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Belarmo saved Metapalo FC from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Illan came free, but Gavino Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Dunixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Loramendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes Zodiaco Star F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacinto Baumar who took care of the corner kick. Arsenio Loramendi made a great header on Metapalo FC's corner, it was just that Zodiaco Star F.C.'s Carolo Dunixi managed to reach the ball for a save. Gavino Belarmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eberhard Kühlem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arsenio Loramendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Carolo Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Gavino Belarmo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 59th minute Delmar Eztebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Belarmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Eztebe in the 59th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Faustino Suero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Belarmo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eberhard Kühlem in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Metapalo FC defense, Eberhard Kühlem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Belarmo. The Metapalo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Belarmo should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo got control of the ball when Delmar Eztebe tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Domingo Beltza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Belarmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Eztebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Zodiaco Star F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
